Cost Per Year

The Tuition Estimator will help you estimate the cost of attendance for full time enrollment for ONE ACADEMIC YEAR at A&M Commerce. These are amounts for the 2016/2017 academic year, which are subject to change. The estimation is set at 30 annual credit hours for undergraduates and 18 annual credit hours for graduate students. Your actual cost of attendance may vary.

Students in need of Financial Aid must first fill out the FAFSA to see their eligible awards.

The Tuition Estimator is based on data from actual full-time, first-time undergraduate students who have attended TAMUC. Calculations are based on FAFSA data, and when 2016/2017 data is publicly released the Tuition Estimator will be updated to reflect these changes.


All single, freshman and sophomore undergraduate students who are not commuting from the home of their parents or legal guardians must reside in University housing (residence halls) and all  freshmen are required to purchase a meal plan for the full academic year.  This policy covers all beginning students who are starting college in the same year as their date of graduation from high school.  Students who have been out of high school for one year or more are exempt from this policy.

Students planning to live at home in Commerce, TX or within 50 miles (or less than a 1 hour drive) are required to complete a Commuter Authorization Request form and sign it in the presence of a Notary Public or Residential Living and Learning Office staff member and return it to the Residential Living and Learning Office. Students must notify the Residential Living and Learning Office of any change in name or address.



All freshmen are required to purchase one of the following meal plans for the full academic year:
